Andrea Bassett serves as the Parent Counselor and Resource Coordinator for the Child Care Resource and Referral Agency of South Central Georgia at Douglas, a unit of the Institutional Effectiveness Division of East Central Technical College.

Prior to coming to the East Central Tech in September 2007, Andrea served as Assistant Director of Financial Aid at South Georgia College for ten years. She was Director of Technology and Education for Sylvan Learning Center in Macon Georgia for two years, and before taking the position with Sylvan, she taught elementary school in Valdosta and Macon for several years.

Andrea earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Pensacola Christian College and a certificate in Computer Information Systems from South Georgia College.
