Connie Coffey serves as Vice President of Student Affairs at East Central Tech. She has worked at East Central Tech since 1994, and worked as a Career Planner before being named to this position in 1999. Prior to joining the staff of East Central Tech, she worked as head of the accounting department at Trendsetter Building Systems for five years. She also served as office manager of Mann Construction, Inc. for ten years.

Her duties include planning, implementing, and managing promotional and recruitment programs and strategies, compiling and utilizing statistical data pertaining to admissions, and presenting and interpreting the image of the school for the public. Other duties include maintaining and updating the Asset testing entrance exam system, and assisting students with the admissions and financial aid process.

Connie earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgia Southwestern College, and has completed a Masters in Counseling and Guidance at Valdosta State University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in Adult Education from the University of Georgia.
