Ubaldo Gonzalez serves as an instructor in the Industrial Systems Technology
Program, a position he held since January of 2003. Prior to joining the
faculty of East Central Tech, he worked in private industry including
tenures with Ithaca Industries Inc. and Georgia Ductile.
His areas of concentration include: industrial electronics, wiring,
hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and motor controls. Mr. Gonzalez has
experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, which involved maintaining and
repairing industrial machinery and lighting and installing electrical
equipment. Most recently he worked as a Maintenance Electrician in Cordele,
GA, repairing industrial production machinery, which involved the use of
electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical skills.
Mr. Gonzalez holds a diploma from East Central Tech’s Industrial Systems
Technology program and is a former part-time instructor. While a student at
East Central, he placed 1st in State and 5th in the National SkillsUSA/VICA
Competition. He is NOCTI certified for Industrial Electricity. Mr. Gonzalez is also a licensed electrician.
