		Ms. Cindy Parrish serves as the primary instructor for medical classes offered by the Economic Development department. At present this includes Phlebotomy and Patient Care Assisting. She also offers short courses in CPR, First Aid, and other health related issues as requested by industry. Ms. Parrish has been a nurse for over 30 years and has been teaching in the health occupations field for over 20 of those years. She has taught in the Practical Nursing, Associate Degree Nursing, Health Occupations, and Medical Assisting programs. She has also been an In-Service Coordinator for a small rural hospital. Ms. Parrish graduated from South Georgia College with an Associate of Science degree in nursing. She earned her BSN from Albany State College and her MSN from Valdosta State University.
