Program Description

The purpose of this air conditioning certificate program is to provide basic training in the principles of air conditioning for people needing training or retraining. This program will respond to the training needs of businesses and industries and will be open to students seeking a course in this field of shorter duration than the diploma program.

Length of Program

A total of 26 credit hours is required for completion. A part-time night student could expect to complete the program in five quarters; a day student, in three quarters.

Campus Location

The Air Conditioning Repair technical certificate is offered quarterly on the Coffee Campus.

Entrance Requirements
Required Age: 16 years of age or older
Must have air conditioning experience or permission from the air conditioning instructor to enroll in this technical certificate.
