Automotive Alignment and Brakes Specialist

Program Description

The Automotive Alignment and Brake Specialist certificate program prepares students for careers in the automotive technician field. Local industry needs properly trained personnel in order to implement repair services for the new technologies in brake and alignment systems. The program emphasizes a combination of brake system and suspension and steering system theory and practical application necessary for successful employment. Program graduates will receive an Automotive Alignment and Brake Specialist certificate and possess the qualifications of an Automotive Alignment and Brake Specialist Technician.

Length of Program A minimum of 19 credit hours is required for program completion. A full-time student can complete the requirements for this certificate within two quarters. A part-time night student can complete this certificate in four quarters. Campus Location The Automotive Alignment and Brakes Specialist Certificate is offered at the Ben Hill-Irwin Campus.
