Length of Program
A total of 21 credit hours are required for completion. A
part-time student enrolled two nights a week could complete
this program in three quarters; a full-time student, in as
little as one. Child Development Specialist is available
online.
Campus Location
The Child Development Specialist
certificate is offered quarterly on the Ben Hill-Irwin and Coffee campuses, and
online.

Employment Opportunities
Program completers may obtain
employment as childcare providers in childcare centers or in
private settings.
