Program Description
The Cisco
Networking Academy Program technical certificate prepares students to take
the Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) exam. The
students will be introduced to such topics as the OSI model,
router configuration, multiple protocols, Local Area Network
(LAN) Switching, WANS, and internetworking as a whole.

Length of Program
A total of
24 credit hours is required for completion of this
certificate program.
Campus Location
The Cisco Specialist Certificate is
offered on the Ben Hill-Irwin campus.
Employment Opportunities
Graduates of this certificate who
achieve CCNA certification will find enhanced employment
opportunities in network administration.
Entrance Requirements
Students must have earned a high school
diploma or GED.
Placement exam required.
