Program Description
The Cosmetic Esthetician program is designed to offer
entry-level esthetics training for students. Completion of the
program prepares students to sit for the Esthetics licensure
examination given by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology.
This program will enable participants to attain educational and
practical lab experience so they may become employed in salons,
spas, etc.

Length of Program
A minimum of 48 credit hours is required for program
completion. A
student attending class two nights a week can expect to
complete the program in eight quarters.
Campus Location
The Cosmetic Esthetician certificate program
is taught on the Ben Hill-Irwin campus.

Entrance Requirements
Minimum Age: 17
High School Diploma or GED
Placement exam required.
