Program Description
The Fingerprint Specialist technical certificate is designed to
provide training for persons to enhance their skills as
entry-level crime scene forensic technicians. Courses in the TCC
provide both classroom and hands-on learning in the areas of
processing fingerprint evidence, fingerprint identification, and
classification. This TCC will provide entry-level forensic
technicians the skills needed to work in a crime scene
investigation gathering the fingerprint evidence required by law
enforcement agencies. All police and sheriff departments in the
ECTC service area have need of individuals with these skills.
