Program Description

The General Construction Assistant certificate program is designed to provide students with an understanding of basic skills needed to perform as an assistant to construction specialists in the skills of carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and electrical wiring.

Length of Program

A total of 21 credit hours is required for program completion. A part-time student could expect to complete the program in three quarters.

Campus Location

The General Construction Assistant certificate is offered on the Ben Hill-Irwin campus.
 

Employment Opportunities
Program completers will find employment opportunities in numerous businesses involved in residential and commercial construction within our service area.

Entrance Requirements
