Program Description
The purpose of the Motorcycle Repair
Technician technical certificate is to provide training
opportunities for persons to gain entry-level employment in
repair of motorcycles. Courses in the technical certificate
provide both classroom and hands-on learning in the areas of
frames and suspension systems, electrical systems,
wheels/brakes/tires, ignition and fuel systems, cooling systems,
engines, drive trains, and customer service.

Length of Program
A total of 21 credit hours is required for program
completion. A part-time student enrolled two nights a week could complete this program
in three quarters.
Campus Location
The Motorcycle Repair Technician technical
certificate is offered on the Ben Hill-Irwin campus.
Employment Opportunities
Program completers may obtain employment as
entry-level technicians in the motorcycle repair field.
Entrance Requirements
Required Age: 16
Placement exam required.
