Program Description

The Nail Technician certificate program prepares students for careers in nail technology. This program also emphasizes salon/shop management. Program graduates will receive a Nail Technician certificate and possess the qualifications of a nail technician.

Length of Program

A minimum of 28 credit hours is required for graduation. A student coming to school two or three nights a week can expect to complete the program in four to six quarters. A full-time student can complete it in two quarters.

Campus Location

The Nail Technician Certificate Program is taught on the Ben Hill-Irwin campus quarterly.

Entrance Requirements*

High School Diploma or GED
Placement exam required.

* Students must be 17 years old before taking the State Board Licensing Exam.
