Length of Program

A total of 15 credit hours is required for program completion. A part-time student enrolled two nights a week could expect to complete the program in three quarters; an extended-day student could complete requirements in one quarter.

Campus Location

The Pipe Welder certificate is offered quarterly on the Ben Hill-Irwin campus.

Employment Opportunities

Pipe Welder prepares students for careers in the welding industry. Program completers will find employment opportunities nationwide, and within our service area.

Entrance Requirements
Required Age: 16 years or older
High School Diploma or GEd required Placement exam required
Must be a welding diploma program graduate.
