Program Description
The Residential Wiring
Technician technical certificate is designed to provide students
with the fundamentals of AC and DC circuits, residential wiring
single-family, multi-family dwellings, and learning principles
of electrical safety. Upon completion, students will be equipped
to design and install modern, safe residential wiring systems
that meet the demands of local industry.

Length of Program
A minimum of 30 credit hours is required to complete the
program. A part-time student can expect to complete this
certificate in five quarters by attending classes
two nights per week.

The Residential Wiring Technician
Technical Certificate is offered on the Coffee Campus.
Entrance Requirements
Required Age: 16 years of age or older
Placement exam required.
