Regardless of their assigned task, all employees need to update their skills periodically. After all, keeping abreast of the latest techniques, customer needs, and quality indicators allows a company to cross the line from mediocre to world-class.

The Economic Development Division of East Central Technical College provides training opportunities for local companies to update the work skills of their employees and retraining to accommodate new technology or new manufacturing methods. We have the ability to customize almost any course for any company. We offer maintenance skills training, a full-service computer training center, and training for many other technical skills.

We offer the opportunities to custom train employees in school labs that offer some of the latest equipment, but more importantly, we provide for a learning environment. Many of these courses also provide for the opportunity to train in a shared environment, thereby reducing the expense of travel and time away from the job.
