How to Apply

Public School Teachers
 

To receive PLU credit for our Computer Applications for Government Employees or Multimedia Specialist technical certificates, you will need to have your system staff development coordinator's approval using the forms below for each course:

CAGE Certificate:

SCT 100 Prior Approval Form

CIS 127 Prior Approval Form

BUS 202 Prior Approval Form

BUS 105 Prior Approval Form

1.  Signed application, mailed, with original signature.

2.  $15 application fee made payable to East Central Technical College (one time, non-refundable fee)

3.  Official College Transcripts or ASSET, SAT, CPE, or ACT scores.

If you would like courses to be considered for transfer credit, you must contact Melisa Edge via email.

4.  Complete Financial Aid documentation.

a.  Complete eHOPE application found at Georgia Student Finance Commission.

b.  Complete ECTC's Local Application for Financial Aid and fax or mail. (Not required for transient students)

c.  Request Transient Student Agreement from Home College.  (Transient students only)

5.  Please notice that some classes require on-campus visits.  Fill out the Online Student Information Form and fax or mail.

6.  Complete the New Student Orientation Training presentation and the New Student Welcome Presentation.

7.  Purchase your course textbook upon registration confirmation.

8.  Contact your instructor before the first day of the quarter.
