Graduation

Graduation ceremonies are held semi-annually, in March and September, to honor diploma and degree graduates. All students who expect to graduate must complete the Application for Graduation, have it signed by his/her instructor, and submit it to the Registrar’s Office during the first two weeks of the student’s last academic quarter. Students who wish to participate in the graduation exercises must pay a non-refundable graduation fee of $35. Click on one of the following links to download a graduation application:

Applicants must meet all academic and financial obligations prior to graduation. Diplomas, degrees, and technical certificates are mailed at the end of each quarter or may be picked up upon request.

Holds
If a “hold” has been placed on a student’s record, no records will be released under any circumstances. A student with a hold is also not eligible to graduate until he/she has cleared this hold. Holds may be placed on a student’s record for many different reasons. Among them are: academic suspension, incomplete admissions file, incomplete financial aid file, unmet financial obligations to the school, etc. A hold may be placed on a student’s records by the following departments:

1. Instructional Services Office
2. Business Office
3. Financial Aid Office
4. Registrar’s Office

Please check with the Registrar’s Office to determine how to release a specific “hold”.
